Surface Web:-
Search engines like google, yahoo, bing, etc, index only 4-5 percentage of the total internet. Internet is a vast structure. Only a few percentages of it are indexed by the search engines and are visible to the users. If a user searches for a particular thing, only 4-5 percentages of total results will be indexed. Generally, this is also known as the surface web.
The surface web is consists of only public information and data. Social networking, news and media, blogs and organizational landing pages, e-commerce, etc. are generally part of surface we. No private information or secret data and confidential information is visible to a normal user and hence is not indexed by the search engine.
Deep Web:-
Just like the Surface web, the deep web is a subpart of the internet that contains non-indexed websites. The websites which are not shown as result using google, yahoo, or any other search engine can be found in the deep web. These websites are specially encrypted over a network and aren’t directly visible to a normal user. There is no direction to get into the deep web without gaining access to the encrypted network. The deep web contains all the rest of the information which is a search engine fails to index.
Deep web generally consists of an encrypted website, government official information, and other sensitive information. The websites on the deep web are generally accessible but not indexed by the search engines. A specially encrypted network is used to access them. This network is known as TOR Network which works on Onion Proxy.
Dark Net:-
The darknet is also known as the Dark web and it is a subpart of the deep web. This is the main encrypted part which is not indexed by the search engine as well as access restricted. These websites are specially encrypted and can be accessed over tor network. Their domain name is not usual.
Example: www.xyz.onion
The darknet uses specially encrypted domains and which are not filtered by the search engines. Accessing the darknet is possible via TOR Network. Silk Road is one of the biggest encrypted darknet websites which is only accessible via the tor network. Everything is available over the darknet either it is a fake identity or a weapon. Even hiring for a shootout is also possible over the darknet. There are many encrypted websites but few of them are very precious and useful.

3. Bitcoin mining
4. Illegal products
5. Scams and frauds
6. Hoaxes and Unverified news
7. Market selling banned stuff like drugs.
8. Illegal and banned content like child pornography.
9. And many other kinds of stuff.
Bitcoin:-
Bitcoin is a digital currency and payment system which became public in 2008 and open-source software became available in 2009. In the bitcoin system, the transactions are directly between user and client because it uses peer connection. There is no intermediate in this system. Verification of transactions took place by network nodes and is recorded in the blockchain which uses bitcoin as its unit of account.
Bitcoin is also known as the first Cryptocurrency (encrypted currency) and most suitable knowing as the first decentralized digital currency. Bitcoin is the largest among its kind in total market value.
The Onion Router -TOR:-
Tor is an open-source tool used for enabling anonymity. Tor is widely used to access the Darknet and deep web. It is one of the most encrypted networks. Tor works on the Onion Proxy and the original name of this project is "The Onion Router". Tor is concerned as one of the most anonymous and secure encrypted networks. Yet the anonymity over tor network can be revealed. It is difficult to trace users over the tor network. Tor encrypts the data and even the destination IP address several times. Thousands of relays are used to conceal the user's location and to bring up anonymity.
Tor network can be accessed using the TOR Browser. Tor Browser is a specially designed browser that runs on onion proxy. It is available open-source and comes with the GUI of Mozilla Firefox. It allows accessing darknet, deep web including all tor encrypted websites which aren't indexed by the search engine. Tor indexes almost every possible result.

- Online smuggling of banned drugs, fake identities, ammo, etc.
- Botnets and black hat hacking stuff.
- Hidden political information
